Vote Results, Nov. 2000 Election

Santa Clara Co. Measure A passed by slightly over70%.

Alameda Co. Measure B passed by slightly over 80%. This was sold as a transit tax by the highway lobby. All the TV ads showed BART but no roads. However, 41% will in fact go to fund roads. Incredibly, the Sierra Club supported this measure but opposed Santa Clara County Measure A which was 100% for transit.
